LOM Rudy

LOM Rudy is a Detroit area rapper from Inkster, a small suburb he describes as a mini Detroit, known for gritty trap music grounded in real life experience. After years in the streets and a prison sentence that ended in 2018, he committed to music full time and released his first project, “Chess not Checkers,” in 2019. His story is one of resilience: he survived several shootings, including one in Houston in 2021, and came back with “Second Chance” soon after. Known for a steady stream of releases and collaborations with artists like BabyTron and Payroll Giovanni, he has become one of the most consistent and creative voices in Detroit’s hip hop scene, drawing new fans beyond his core trap audience.
