Ruben Studdard, born on September 12, 1978, is a renowned American singer and actor. He rose to fame as the winner of American Idol Season 2, earning a Grammy nomination in 2003 for "Superstar." Studdard boasts seven studio albums, including the platinum-selling "Soulful" and a gospel hit, "I Need an Angel." Beyond music, he excelled in TV and stage, notably as Fats Waller in "Ain't Misbehavin'," accompanied by a Grammy-nominated soundtrack. In 2018, he paid homage to Luther Vandross.
